Since the 1967 Cultural Revolution, it has become unpopular to speak about righteousness. Today, people who say things like, "sex should only happen within marriage, between and man and a woman, and children should ideally have two parents, and drugs are abhorrent", are derided as goody-two shoes at best, and stuffy old bigots at worst.

However, there are three good reasons why we need to continue to be unapologetic about promoting righteousness. Firstly, righteousness is good for our souls; secondly, righteousness is good for our happiness; and thirdly, righteousness is good for our financial prosperity. And if we don't return to it, we can expect all three to suffer.
