On March 2nd 1837, Heinrich Marx, the father of Karl Marx, wrote to his then 18-year-old son to say he had a terrible sense of foreboding and fear about his future. He said Karl's heart was "obviously animated and governed by a demon"; expressed concern that Karl would never be happy; and explained his fear that he would make those around him miserable as well.
Later in life, once Karl had begun to develop his Marxist theory further, his father wrote again to tell him that he could see Karl's ideas were rooted in an inexplicable envy and bitterness, and pleaded with him to let go of it.
Once we understand that the root of Marxism is simple envy, so much about it begins to make sense. Socialism, feminism, CRT, DEI, globalism to name just a few expressions can all be explained by it. And in the Bible, we are offered a very simple antidote. We'll explore it in this video!
